What Are JR Car Burglar Alarms?
In this article we will take a look at what a modern car alarm is like similar to the JR car burglar alarms that are available today. We will take a look at what they do and just how they do it. Today modern car alarms can be as simple or as elaborate as you would like. However a car thief may still find a way of actually being able to by pass it and gain access to your vehicle.
The most basic type of car alarm system use to be one where some sensors were connected to a siren of some sort. The switch to arm and disarm the system would be found on the driver's door. The system was wired in such a way that as soon as the door was opened by someone it would set the siren off. Such a system could easily be installed into any vehicle using some wires, a switch and a siren.
However the systems such as those sold by JR are much more sophisticated. They consist of several different components which we will take a look at below.
1. Various different sensors including switches, pressures sensors and also motion detectors. 2. A siren but this can now create a variety of different sounds and so will help you to pick out your vehicle from the rest. 3. A radio receiver which allows you to arm and disarm the system with a key fob. 4. An auxiliary battery which means that the alarm will still operate even if the main battery on the vehicle has become disconnected or has gone dead. 5. The control unit which contains a computer and monitors everything and will then sound the alarm if required to do so. Really this is the main component and the brains of any car alarm system. It can not only activate the alarm to sound on your vehicle but will also set off the horn and headlights as well. Even the JR car burglar alarms will be different from all the other types of systems with regard to the sensors that it uses and how the different devices are actually wired into the control unit of the system.
